Hello guys,
Long story short, once upon a time it was raining outside when suddenly the result.
It's nothing special, just a path tracing of water really. :) Hope you'll like it.

Hi subseth,

I really like both!! Nice feeling and close to nature.
Would you mind to share how it was done? The water drops and the spiderweb look very realistic.
Any postwork or straight out of octane?

Thank you all very much. I did not expect such attention. :)
The scene is quite simple. There is just one texture for wood branch. Everything else is just playing with materials, DOF and camera settings.

If I'm right, octane can not produce bokeh effects yet so that is pure post pro.

Water drops are created from basic water material, with IOR set to 1.25. Once you have a right and smooth geometry, result is clear and nice. For example in Rain Flower image, in big water drops there are little 'drops' or 'voids' simulating 'air voids' which produce more detail.

Spider web and flower's fibers are rendered with material similar to the water, but with higher density, hmm something like slime. I changed a film index so color could change a little bit. Then you can see the blue tint on fibers of rain flower.

I used path tracing and simple HDR map for lighting.

I have never seen such beautiful rendering of pure water. (great thanks to octane and RS of course) I would love to see those equations :)
