Reflection question

Hello
First I'd like to thank refactive software for octane, outstanding work Guys! I like it alot.
Since purchase I'm playing with my ZBrush scuplts and materials... but I have a little problem with reflections on glossy materials. Can't fully control them. Even with specular value 0. It looks like permament frensel reflections to me.
Is there any possibility to control this effect or take it off completly? Don't want to use roughness value which gives 'satin' effect.

Hi,

It's due to the BRDF model used, it's always a specular coating over diffuse.
if you were to set the glossyness at 0, you'd have a plain diffuse material, use that one, it's much more efficient.

Thanks for reply. I'll be happy to have an option to lower this clearcoat effect, it way to much at this moment. I am currently working on clay-chavant materials, they're a bit reflective but not satinish like roughness gives. Plain materials with additional maps are quite good.
