Instant Crash to desktop opening Excel

I have a funny bug with testversion "E" here.
As soon as I choose Octane as a renderer in max2012 and then click an Excel 2010 file in windows explorer 3dmax crashes to desktop without notice.
I can reproduce it here even without having to open a scene before. just select octane as a renderer.
So watch out guys if you want to invoice your client while the scene is still rendering. lol

I noticed first time because and didnt try with stand-alone (didnt update it for months since plugin is available).
But normally I do render and work on other stuff beside so I think thie issue was introduced with the latest plugin version.

it doesnt crash with stand-alone. Only with 3dsmax.
Can anyone verify if its just me with this crash?
EDIT: Strange today I got no crash and my computer was rendering for nearly 24hours on animations.
