Laptop Set-up

Hi everybody,
This is my first post, so hi everyone and nice to meet ya!
Anyway, to get straight to the point, my laptop has conked out and I am looking into t new one. The new laptop I want to be able to run octane on, as I was unable to do so before. I'm also a Lenovo fanboy, but the issue is that the only laptop they carry with nvidia graphics cards are the W-series, and these only have Quadro 2000M. How will octane perform with such a graphics card and with a core i-7? I'm borderline computer illiterate, my focus is on architectural design and I use rhino for modelling, I intend to use octane as my main renderer as it seems fast as well as easy to use.
My past experience has been with luxrender which was excruciatingly slow, so my question is how will octane perform on the above hardware but also how will it perform relative to a renderer like luxrender.
Hopefully this is comprehensible, thanks in advance everbody!
