Hello! here think about what is important for comfortable work in the Octane in the future
Displace - parallax texturing example of game engines ( Unreal engane 3.5)
animation materials
grass
particle system
animation sky, cloud
AutoSave
will convert the texture under the Octane, the hard drive is a lot of high quality materials, every change is stupid
Proxy
animation camera
Material dirt


and personal)) I have a dual-GPU Nvidia 9800 GX2 Why sees as one of 9800 with 512 mb 256 bit? although there are two video cards in one on board 1Gb 512 bit

It sees half the ram because it is 2 gpus in 1 card with 512 each, giving a total of 1gb combined. The problem is that Octane doesn't combine the ram as the because the scene must exist entirely on each gpu's ram. This is the same issue many have had with the gtx295s and their listed 1.8gb ram.

Also check and see if you have SLI enabled in the nvidia control panel as that is how these type of cards are generally setup physically, hence why Octane only sees 1.
