Graph Editor Bug

Node moved away will be losted forever? How to navigate on Graph editor? Zoom? Pane?
Also I want ask about materials library - its will be very usefull. I if it will be avaible in demo people will fill it right now.
And I dont see any output in Macro node.. how to work with it? If I want to create some cool mega complex material and collapse it into simple node (marco) then I can`t find way to connet it to my 3d model. ((
And will be cool a stuff like instance node.. to use same mesh without memory cost. And I think its not a problem to import/export it in OBJ.. for example in external soft i will create MESH - "teapot" and lots of empty(or low(any) polygon sized) nodes but with (code)name "teapot_inst0001"..."teapot_inst0123" and Octane will se it as a Intances of teapot! =) Cool idea i think ;)
And it will be usefull for grass, trees e.t.c.

Sorry, I think its to much for one bug report. ))
Thanks for greate toy (untill I buy it). ;)

Hi,

The features you're proposing are in development.
You can't expect a 7 month old renderer to do everything you want...

Oh. Sorry, one more intention. Using GPU or CPU only its not a best way today. Do you have a plan to make Octane use both? I have GTX470 and i7 and will be cool to make it wotk together.

you won't notice the difference adding your CPU...
it will be like 5% faster or something...

Hm.. I saw Arion tests, they use unibase too. So CPU its about 25% of GPU. 25% its a good increment to speed. Even 5% its not bad. And Lan (render farm) its good too.

afaik they don't, they don't render caustics, so it's biased.
I don't see a reason to add 5% more speed while losing you're entire system's CPU...

it outweights the benefits imo.

Maybe you are right. )
Hope we will see caustic in Octane. )

the pathtracing kernel already does caustics, it's just not very efficient without MLT, which will be in the next 2.3 release.

Its good news. )
I think we will see a realy a lot new features. ) may be like glossy on glass or SSS.
