I wanted a help from you on the new card from Nvidia Gtx680

I was wondering why the new GTX680 graphics card is not fast at rendering Octane, since 1536 it has CUDA cores? I explain, was not to be quick in rendering? I was thinking of buying, but I'm buying preoculpada and repent.

Another victim of marketing numbers.
That 1500 cores are not 1:1 comparable with Fermi cores, because 680 is a new architecture. A 680 is currently comparable with a 460 and I wouldn't expect it to be better than a 470 / 570, when the drivers & Octane will be optimized for Kepler.
