Hi,
I'm trying to run Octan on my laptop using Windows 7 Remote Desctop and I get this message:
No Cuda Capable Devices Found, Exiting...
I can run 3D Max, Vray, Office... everything but not Octan. What can be a problem?

Hi,
Does the machine you run octane on has a cuda capable GPU and did you install the latest drivers on it ?

Yes. I install Octan on desktop computer and it's work fine. The problem is only with remote desktop option.

that does'nt make any sense at all...
if octane runs on the desktop PC, and it won't run through a remote connection you're doing something wrong...
the only issue i could imagine is that it would run but you might not see the image displayed remotely.

I also can't run GPU benchmarks like 3Dmark2006 and Vantage but Heaven Benchmark works fine.
Configuration in Windows7 is very simple so I don't think I could do something wrong. When I turn on Remote my desktop computer logout and my laptop starts to control system. I try to run Octan by I get Device Manager error. I also checked Task Manager and it shows me that the program is not running.
The idea was to work with Octan on low-cost laptop outside my office or to do some correction with customer in his property.

Does octane work correctly on the desktop ?
It's unclear from your responses...

logmein also works pretty good. I've used that pretty well for the past couple of weeks when my render rig was at work. The basic service is also free.
