				Hello Octaners,
Here's what i'm working on, BMW M5 2011/12 model. I'm still tweaking the materials/textures, the interior is half way there, the tail lights almost there, no exhaust etc....
What can i say, i wanted to finish and post this model for the competition. Now, it's 2 and a half months later and i'm posting it in WIP section. LAME
Best,
V

				wow

the first one is awesome! I love the lens and chromatic abberation...
the second with the rim... is awesome too... but I think it should cook a little longer
I would only took saturation down like 20%
great renders and modeling !

				To PhillieDFilms:
Standard stuff: contrast, levels, color CC, lens correction (applying distortion effects ), chromatic aberration..... no glow, no diffusion, no bleach effects.
To mlody47:
Thank you for your input. I agree on everything you said, i was trying to match the color of the car with some M5 studio shots, so the renderings really do look oversaturated but i'll dial things down and take the outdoor photos as a reference.
I also love that foggy HDR from the first img. This is my "go to" HDR whenever i want that kind of atmosphere.
To Tugpsx:
Thank you for visiting
best,
V

Ok, i wanted to create a new set of tires for this car (the old ones are from my first ever car model Mercedes CLS). Sidewall was designed using Zbrush (baked dirt/occlusion and normal map) , the tire tread was textured in Mari, and Maya was used for everything else (modeling, UVs etc). Rendered with the latest Octane 2.58
Zbrush sidewall design
Mari tire tread paint
Here's Maya wireframe
And finally the rendering
best,
V
