just unpack the archive, and launch the included binary. 'octane'

yes, i've tried to launch it from the graphical interface and from the terminal, but it doesn't respond, do you have an idea how to use it ?

in the graphical interface nothing happens, and in the shell when I type octane it says :

No command 'octane' found, did you mean:
Command 'octave' from package 'octave3.2' (universe)
Command 'octave' from package 'octave3.0' (universe)

Hi,

You need to go to the directory with the 'cd' command, where you unpacked octane, then launch it with './octane'.
