Hi everybody,
first of all let me say that Octane rocks dudes ^_^ i've bought an Nvidia GeForce video card (instead of my new Ati 5770) only to see it in action and it's really surprising me.
I've read/watch some stuff around here and made my tests, i'd buy an alpha license BUT (there's a "but") i feel a lack of infomations. Let me explain.
I can see in gallery's slideshows and in this forum a lot of AWESOME images, full of amazing light, incredible materials, phenomenal colors etc etc BUT
i can't do the same on my own machine!
it's a bit frustrating, i think that a even simple PDF guide, or a materials and interior/exterior tutorial, a basic Octane manual and/or stuff like this make easier for people like me, not so "skilled" as render's masters that we can see here,
to make something good. We are a crowds of people! Please do not forget us.... Have you schedule something in this way? maybe there's already something i've missed to check out?

Hi,

The manual is a feature of the commercial edition and is included with the commercial version.
For demo users we have the tutorial video on our videos page.
We're also in the process of making a more detailed 'getting started with the demo' video tutorial that will explain everything.

what do you mean, a template for what ?

Maybe i used a wrong word....i mean stuff like materials, scenes, etc etc
but it's e beta version....maybe in the future?
