thanks ! did you saw my last scan head test from yesterday ? it was not bad and even better as the University original tests that was looking like the color clay renders from octane .. I guess in 2007 they did not had that much choice ..
Octane rule !

I was just about to post it lol
well the other example show the skin in different lights situation without changing the materials
and worked very nice , the setup was more in the right maps choice than the values
but the effect was really dynamic . If it works in the direct sun it will works in any light
btw I setup the light to the realistic values to begin with my setup so I am sure it works
also , we had a little battle to setup the materials in Octane in time for the best results , and guess who was first ? lol
I just follow the rules I learn in the last 14 years , that is all, I am not perfect with what I do but closer to the finale as ever before

:D Its a learning process of everybody and if anybody says its not they are lying! You have the right ideas and the future is only going to get better. I have been using Octane since September last year and I cannot go back to other renders. Now I have to upgrade my vid card from 580 GTX to 680GTX once Octane gets full support.

2 x gtx 680 4GB is on my wish list .. waiting just for the green light also ..
I will go with 2 x580 3GB until then but I don't expect any changes until summer .. and I agree with you .. I stopped any other software from rendering
and spending most time in Zbrush and octane only to do the visual job I need

My two programs exactly....learning the hair in Zbrush....great tool! Wow, 2 680GTX no worries about space then...Octane really shines.
