I know You got enough of car renders , but this will be commercial one ( had to abandon the jet engine :( ) still working on it so dont bite my head off. ( textures and modeling will be corrected and there will be added some nice typo ) There will be 8 or 10 shots.

In rc 2.2 I cant get bump to work and normal maps are giving me strange renders.

I know its beta beta for multi-GPU, but when Im only on one its acting like Im using 2 of gpus . UI is lagged and I cant use my rig for other things. Is this familiar with rc 2.2 ??

WOW! realy nice renders.
Check the front wheel since the raod has motion blur, you may want to straighten the wheel. and possibly add blur to them. Also antialiasing issue. And fireflies in the headlights.

But none-the-less a job well done.
Keep 'em coming.

I get delays too, random flashes and quirks here and there :D

Dang !!! Those are really nice car rendering...
Not a big fan of modern car design.. As I got stuck in the 60's an 70's
But non the less, I am able to appreciate quality work...
Nice camera angle too :-)
By the way... I was not able to roll my camera ... What key combination is that. ?
Thx

Hey,

bump should be fixed in the 2.2 RC2.
Also, what's wrong with your headlights ?
You should make sure you have enough maxdepth in your kernel settings, set it to 16 or something.
also, make sure you're glass is double sided and the normals are pointing outwards on both sides...

Hey.
Yea dont look at the textures there are only projections with image. ( maybe ill try to fake motion blur later )those renders were stopped just to show latest WIP ( which WILL be fiinished today or tommorow ) and ask for bump. thats why headlamps were still cooking.

XTRM

look for "UP" vector in the camera settings ( and change the X value )

thanks for Your time and comments :)

and this is my workflow.

1.Setting up materials in octane.
2.Making little quicky randers to just see the shot.
3.Rendering final image with double size ( if GPU agree )

so now we are in point number 2 :)

hey im using one sided glass its faster. The whole car in 3000X1500 could be rendered in 10 min max, but headlights are rendering forever and they are CLEAN after 2 hours :( . Will MLT help that??
