as long as nobody but "regular" customers have access to the full version, nobody can even try to crack it. the guy apparently bought it to find somebody who cracks it; don't know if it is easy possible, but temptation is the downside of opportunity; apart from that he shares all the exporter scripts, which are already usable with the demo, what was not intended...

but if he was dumb enough to use the same nickname (if this is true), he might have been dumb enough to use his own paypal account also...

This was bound to happen (ie. that someone from licensed customers will post all the good stuff somewhere). It's probably not the first time, either.

It seems this guy joined (4 days ago, 0 posts) solely to grab & forward everything there is available; latest builds, exporters...

The price is low enough that Refractive Software doesn't really need to worry about Warez copies out there. If individuals like ourselves can afford it even if we don't need it, then the product will sell when it's finished.

yeah weird that someone would want to try and do that considering the current price of Octane...
But i guess for some its a hobby.
