Guys, Don't waste time of developers to answer You question like these. It will be released when it will be done right, that's it, till the live with tools You have!

I'd Love that Octane team wouldn't even make a hint of what is coming and completely ignore the fact that somebody is trying to ask for a date - Just like apple does, complete silense.

Don't post those silly mesages with Two characters - it's a form of spam (ban should be considered for action like these)

Everyone would like to know this, but if we all start pushing, spaming the comunity forum - the process will not be done any faster.

So relax, chillOut and make Yourself a favour - forget about it! At least for some time You'll get free head..and one day You'll be happy to find it is done!

ps: there is a little bit a difference between apple and refractive/otoy, as least as what i'm aware of

Very useful octane features (like sss or the DL improvements) came out because we (users) asked for it many times even if those where planned for V1 final or later.
So it is a mutual relationship.
We test the betas, we give feedback and often our wishes are taken seriously.
A bit of transparency regarding the near roadmap would be very fair. I am not speaking about revealing secrets, just a few bits of information to know what there I working on or what causes delays (like it is the case with the instancing feature).

In the past the devs even put screenshots of work-in-progress features and released info quite regularly, so it's not like we are stealing their precious time (5 minutes of work) or being totally unreasonable if we want info on development progress. It's obvious that some priorities changed in the last months (that happens quite often around here - those who follow Octane a long time will know), so releasing some general official info on how will development proceed toward 1.0 would be nice.

Apple (or whatever) policy of total silence doesn't work here - we are doing beta-testing of Octane, remember?

Developers? Where are you? We need news about octane!!!
