Here is my latest project, each view was rendered with a gtx 590 and taking about 2-3 hours. Landscape was a big issue as the polycount limit was pretty tight, I have about 2.5 million polys for the grass only. To avoid showing too much the low poly grass in the foreground I had to slightly over do the dof.

Post production was done with after effects, but was only consisting in adding a bit of bloom CA and a few curves.

I hope you'll like this little sea side set.

love the mood!

the only thing that is not so ''tasty'' is the verticle lines - in arch photography some take this as a flaw & in real world do use special lences in order to avoid this effect.

it would be ideal if these converging lines would be parallel.

but overAll that's realy amazing mood You have set in these!
thanks for sharing!

Yes good point for the vertical lines, I made me the comment and I didn't correct it. But its especially visible because I have a pretty wide angle as it gave me more dynamism. I'll try to correct the perspective though !

Ok, here are exactly the same pictures but with a lens correction filter applied to get the verticals back to vertical. It is definitely better.

Yes it is the inspiration, it is in the title ^^, if you google lars frank nielsen you'll find out it is the author. I love this minimalistic scandinavian design a lot. And I clearly thought about a dusk shot, but I wanted to keep the sea side feel in pictures. But I may try to go back to it and do one more variation for the close up shot which is my favorite.
