I am considering a purchase of Octane and wanted to get something clarified.

To buy one seat, for use with 3dsMax, I must purchase the standalone version for 99E and also the 3dsMax version for 99E?

Or, can I just buy the 3dsMax version? (sorry, but the info on the purchase page is a bit unclear to me...)

There is a bundle that costs 179€ for both standalone and plugin. Both are required to use the plugin.

yes, you need a standalone license, and a plugin license, but there is also a combo where you get both for 179 euros...
