hi would like to know the release date of the Mayan version of the octane
I wonder if I can buy the normal version and then if I can exchange it for a maya version.

the closed beta is currently in progress, so it will need another few weeks until an official release date is set.
you will always need a standalone license and an additional plugin license, so there is nothing to exchange. if you buy the standalone license now, you can add the plugin license as soon as it is released, but most probably there will be a combo package - standalone + maya plugin (like the one for max) - at a slightly cheaper price...
