Can someone advise : every time I import OBJ from Rhino , it's
coming in all one material into Octane.
ie I assign layers in Rhino , then save as OBJ . Open in Octane
and it's all one material .

What am I doing wrong please advise .

Ok.
Spent some time on this . In Rhino , the layers must be assigned in the Object Properties Tab as Assign by Layers . Then all Import fine.
Also looking forward to 2.2 for Rhino/ OBJ fix.

Hi, I'm not a Rhino user, and I will not be very useful in your case, but when you ask for some help, please use a title describing your problem. You will get more response, because generaly people answer to question when they have a response. As almost every one is busy, title without real topic will get very few contacts.
