Hey all ;- ) I just wanna thank for really swift process of acquiring this soft, from sending money to recieving, all less than in one hour !
So my first render..used just HDRi map, never really got to work these right in Mental Ray, love the real-time interaction, saves so much time !
I let this "cook" for only 20 minutes, so hence so much noise, it isn't really worth much anyway, will work on this later tomorrow, this is my school project as I currently study architecture in Prague.
Comments are welcome
Enjoy your time, and once again, thank you folks at refractive !
Edit: Added new pic, with furniture

You're right, I don't really have eye for colors though...
I thought about purple as contrast, any suggestions where to put it .. ?

mmm,
As an architect, I will stay this still as is, that is to say without color.
I like the geometrical feeling of this still.

New pictures ;- ) Decided to put purple into scene, and "pull down" table for dining, instead of TV that far catching reflexions

Thank you ;- )
Yes I did, though I don't have that much time rendering in 4kx4k, I tried though :- ) Maybe on some final image I will do this, at this stage such quality is not even necessary.
All these images took less than 40 minutes in cca 1400x1400, so hence the noise and some fireflies, but I can do with it, since I am highly satisfied anyway.
I almost teach mental ray in my school, and for projects I can fit in brother's GTX285 I won't even go back once to it ! I can't be happier with this product :- ) Makes life so much easier, and rendering is now truly enjoyable ( I remember counting irradiance cache just so it would quit after 2 hours...or waking up to final image not being proper exposure...not anymore)

I could have a question though...what would be considered proper lightning of this scene.. ?
I never used this HDRi much before, and I love it, since I have few of these DOSCH laying around..
Do I adjust the power of HDRi, or make it brighter through camera(exposure,fstop..) ?
For now I did combination of both, but I don't know...
