Daz figures (some nudity...)

Ive been having another go at modeling human figures in Daz to render in Octane. Seems to be working better lately than my earlier efforts, the new Genesis figures in Daz 4 are much smoother when extreme deflections are applied at the joints. I'm hoping to be able to work out the SSS materials for the skin but things are looking pretty good straight out of Daz. I do have to turn down the bump strength for skin but think I can do that before export right in Daz. The cornea and tear of the eyes don't come in as specular, but with a little tweaking the eyes are looking better. Any help with the SSS would be appreciated...

Whoaw, it looks really great to me !
Maybe a little bit too glossy on the back, and a little more work on the hair (I find it difficult to create realistic hair) ... anything else seems perfect.
I'm also struggeling with human characters from daz studio, but my results are not so realistic ...

Still learning some tricks with light sources and using the sun environment to get a backfill or vice versa. I'm a backdrop to map the same image as my environment image if not using the sunlight environment. Lots of variables to play with and it is so nice to get the fast feedback that Octane gives. Changing the skin to glossy and turning the specular way down and then adjusting the roughness can appear to be a light sweat sheen on the body. If you haven't tried the new Daz4 then give it a go, but DON'T overwrite your old Daz3 as I still prefer the older version working interface. The new Genesis figures are a big improvement though and will probably be worth getting used to the new GUI. I'm learning some new techniques for making a waterplane that fades towards the horizon that will be a big help in my yacht renders. I've gotten in trouble at work in the past putting these nude bathing beauties in the yacht hot tubs for years, but I know that's the kind of stuff that really goes on in those tubs!!! I just have to keep them in the water up to their armpits...

Nice, but I think that some slight ripples or wavelets on the water surface around the body would add some realisme.
