Hi.
I have a scene I have tried to convert to Octane from vray.
I have the following items in the scene.
- Vray proxies
- Forest pack pro
- Offcourse vray materials.
- Color correct script on some materials
What will do with Octane and what will not.?
Maybe some good advices from you converting an scene from vray to Octane.

vray proxies won't work, they are native vray meshes, and are not compatible with any other renderer, you'll have to convert them back. Itoo Forest uses regular meshes, so those should work. Vray materials will have to be converted to octane'sm that's just a simple click. And color correct is not suported as it's not a proper octane texture, so it won't be converted over.

Forest pack uses instances. I told to iToo that my tests where successfully with Forest Pack and Octane for Max. You can bake iToo forests with the instance tool.
Regarding color correct and color correction nodes Karba should add an option to bypass these maps. I hope that Refractive will develop new nodes for Octane.

Thanks for your replies.
How do you "bake" itoo forest items.?
Haven't tried that before.
