Alphachannel

Hi all!

today I have downloaded the last version of Octane, the 2.57. With this new version, I had in mind to do since a couple of days some tests with the alphachannel of Octane.
I haven't never tested it: after a fast look to the manual and inside the forum I have tried, but without success...

well, I have put "enabled" in the "Current Kernel", sure...and I have tested it with the three modalities:
directlighting, pathtracing and PMC..
I have done the render and saved it in .PNG, as default of Octane.
I haven't seen no way for "embedded" or "separate" the alphachannel for the final image, so I have opened a graphic program thinking to see the two channels: RGB and ALPHA.

There was only RGB...

Where am I wrong? :(

thanks for the help

Garcia

p.s. the scene is much simple: one stone on a simple rectangular surface with a HDRI around.

If the alpha channel is enabled the scene will be saved as an image with four channels: R, G, B and alpha. The areas where the environment is visible will be transparent in the image.
