Dear all,

How to convert model to 'mesh export' using Octane @3ds max? Any ideas...
Likes Vray we can export any model to 'V-Ray Mesh Export' by right-click 3d model as images below;

Thanks :D ...

i'm no max user, so i'm maybe worng, but the vray mesh export is needed to convert vray proxies to real meshes. as octane doesn't work like that, it is simply not needed...

hi,

thanks t_3. But normally I used this option (mesh export) because to make low polygon for all of trees (aerial perspective).
any ideas or solution for it if I wanna render aerial perspective example using a lot of trees by octane render @3ds max....

thanks guys!

you can't because the lack of instances. You have to wait the 2.6 release but I'm sure that instances will be computed by the cpu only, gpus can't manage instances in realtime....for what I know...
