Payment system sends me in endless loop

i'm having a hard time purchasing the software.

1st try:
- form returned an error that i need to use only latin characters but it needs to be my forum username.
- is the "non-latin" character the dash in my forum username (r-username)?
closed browser
2nd try:
- if i enter my forum login it said i already had an account so i could not re-register
closed browser
3rd try:
on entering username/password, i get returned to the login screen without any information.
4th try:
- i clicked the 3ds max button to see if that worked and was sent directly to paypal purchase screen
- if i closed that window then clicked the standalone buy now button again i was sent to the paypal purchase screen.

starting over:
it seems that if i click the 3ds button, hit back button, then click the standalone button i can get to the paypal purchase screen but was unsure if the purchase would be tied to my username and account. I also wondered if after the purchase i could get into the file download area?
i have no issues using the forum with my "r-username" login
