Hello friends !
Some circuit elements. Today: the retarder. simple and effective...
Too big, too dirty ? Any comments welcome.

imo not to big, but definitely to dirty

esp. the sunken yellow parts shouldn't collect that massive amount of rubber, and also rubber wear won't imo show a defined profile if more than one car (in single pass) had left it...

I would give the street material more resolution. it looks a bit low-res to me. Or lower the bump value.
I like the dirt.

You're right t_3, im gonna change these details.

Yes, it's a problem with the closeup. I have to create another map.

This is a try with a higher resolution but the contrast seems too dark.
However, the resolution of the normal map is very good.

i would tweak the scaling of the street tex. its to huge imo.
