octane not showing up as a choice to render with
I placed the plugins in the path appropriate for my max version according to the directions
But Octane render is not available under the render tab in render settings.

Is there a way I can check to see if it is loaded in any way?

Have you copied all files properly?

you copy the octane3dsmax.dlr file to the 3dsmax plugin directory, not the folder. Do this and put the other files according to the install text file and it should work.
