The material ball is now included by default in Octane render
This topic is open to anyone to see the progress, or to make comments
Here's all the Meshes im working on currently to use in Octane
Documentation and .3DM / .OBJ files are coming soon
All meshes done in Moment of Inspiration 3D
Renders are not Octane because im waiting like everyone one else
Its just boring old CPU renderer
Octane logo from Radiance
Octane logo fun thing
work in progress, maybe included in a cornell box I like the shape

Octane logo Cornell Box
Glass logo inside a Cornell Box

Octane Subsurface (or glass) Cornell Box
Octane logo extruded from one end to the other

Octane Basic Cornell Box
Basic Cornell box including two blocks with one Octane logo emboss and one sphere (metal or glass)

Octane Material sphere v1
First version of a Material test sphere

Octane Material sphere v2
Second version of a Material test sphere, better camera angle

Octane Subsurface test scene "the wave"
Little scene for testing subsurface or glass light absorbtion

OLD MESSAGE: Im currently building a Cornell box for Octane based on the Cornell Program of Computer Graphics original data.
There's gonna be a floating Octane glass logo inside and behind a GretaMacBeth colorchecker.
The light coming from above gonna be a luminous polygon. The walls gonna have 5mm tickness.
(the thickness can be used to test subsurfaced walls maybe)
There's gonna be an option to light with a laser (a very focused ray of light) to show the color spectrum generated by the Octane glass logo.
Box size gonna be 55cm wide by 55 cm high by 57 cm deep.
