Animation - Bench and cg

So my next test is to do a
full parallax 35mm film plate with cg contents on.

So here is the tracked footage,I cranked the contrast to force out details.
The made the camera solve ( manifesting a point cloud representation in 3d space with a camera relation )
The solve looks good and is ready to be brought into the host app for further adress ->

Inside host app, camera/point cloud relation has been swaped.
This means that whatever camera angle we set it will be sitting still and render the motion out.

Dude this camera/object tracking looks great and opens the way to Octane animations.
Scripts like these will allow for future refined camera control in Octane

Its not a script its a whole programm for it and it not cost little. But You can get PfHoe or PfTrack which is waaay cheaper and get good results too but not so good as bijou.

Voodoo is free for non commercial.
syntheyes is great as well and costs little to nothing.
Ill continue process the shot today.

Yeah, Syntheyes is great and soooo fast.
Was used in Avatar as well!
Like your workflow and how you explain them a lot and of course I like your 35mm setup, GK!
Could you tell more about your camera?
I saw your thread in the other forum with pictures of it and it looks you're using a camcorder in front of the lense, right?
