Hello,
I love the new alpha mapping and "daylight" system.
Here is a quick render (1 minute) of Stefan Morrell's "The Backstreets".
I did not yet add all the bump maps.
Best regards,
Michael

Hello,
yes, in fact I reduced the power of the light to 68%, because it looked much darker in pathtracing
(this image was done with directlighting).
Here's another view with light power back to 100%.
And yes, I agree, Stonemason does fantastic models and good textures.
Best regards,
Michael

Its the perfect camera angle + scene to do a morning / middle of the day / dusk comparaison
Try to play with the camera reponse curves also
Ektachrome 100 plusCD and 1.5 gamma for dusk
Kodachrome 64 CD for middle of the day
And maybe Ektachrome 64CD or 320TCD for the morning
Then use the exposure only to adjust
Always play with gamma with the Easterman Kodak presets
Some of them look ugly with gamma 1, but beautifull with gamma 1.5 / 2 or even 2.2
The scene is very good, lots of details, awesome textures etc...
