Have tried to get Octane running on my Mac booted into OS 10.7 and also booted into Windows 7 through bootcamp. Yes - I have installed the latest Cuda drivers and toolkit as the Video explains and in the correct order, still no go. The tutorial video has this exact same setup.

hi, the current available demo (version 2.46b) needs to have the correct version of the cuda driver and toolkit (version 3.2) installed. have you been able to run Octane Render? otherwise please send a screenshot of the error displayed... cheers

All of that has been installed for a long time, I'm a programmer.

I have been to the Nvidia site and noticed that the GeForce 320M is not listed under CUDA, even though under the Windows 7 nvidia control panel, it states that I have 48 CUDA cores. Is it possible that Nvidia has dropped CUDA support for this card even though it is CUDA capable??

You should be able to get it working with this card. However this is a slow card with a very small amount of memory (256MB according to the screenshot, and a part of that may be used by Mac OS X and other programs). You will be able to render small scenes with this card, but they will render very slowly. Follow the instructions on http://www.refractivesoftware.com/demotutorial_mac.html to install CUDA.

Thanks roeland, but if you re-read my Original Post, you'll see that I already did that.

I can only guess that nvidia has removed CUDA support for this card from the current driver.

You can try if CUDA 4.0 works with Lion, download here: http://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-toolkit-40

Also another user reported that you first have to install the CUDA toolkit, and then Octane: http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... =24&t=8079

As far as i know, you need a WHQL certified driver for cuda.

mib2berlin, I haven't tried your suggestion for the Windows side yet, but when I do I will let you know if it works.
