Try closing other applications... Other 3d applications will suck up a fair amount of resources and what not... if all else fails, reboot and start octane cleanly...

Also, no need to put your title in all caps and 5 exclamation marks... people are extremely helpful and prompt with their replies.

the 560ti is a 1gb card... your using it to display your screen so all your screen information is being stored in there..

from the screenshots, it seems like you are also using windows aero... which chews up more gpu space... also, from the size of your screenshot, it seems like you are running 1920x1080 screen size... reducing the screen size to 1650 or even 1024 will help take down the amount of ram used... but pretty much EVERYTHING effects the ram usage... octane will never be able to allocate 100% of the ram, unless you have a dedicated display card (which alot of users on this board actually do have)... where you buy a cheap $30 card, and use that just to display your screen/s... and use the decent card purely for rendering.

does that answer your question?

according to octane you have a 1Gb GPU not a 1.5Gb, check that you have the latest driver from nvidia, also check on the device manager that is properly recognized, it the system only sees a 1Gb gpu Octane won't see it either. Besides if it says you only have 831Mb free turn off Aero if you are using windows vista or seven that'll give you quite a lot. Any other graphic application will suck your vram, autocad, max ... and also it's been reported the latest chrome could do that. How many monitors you have?
