this is my little contribution.
Done 2 months ago for a cd cover, i think it fit well the competiton idea

this is the original result that come from octane. final result had a lot postprod.
this scene is about 10 millions tris, it was a pain without instancing, but it's done
modeled in blender.

i hope it's ok !

As this competition ends around Halloween

I thought I'd introduce you to someone who we'll all be meeting someday.

someone who'll be very busy come the Apocalypse!

Is there an apocalypse coming to a neighbourhood near you? Then you need the RHINO APC.

Built to carry ten soldiers in full battle kit, it will fit your entire family along with all your pre-apocalypse shopping! It will look great outside your bunker, and is currently available in a range of what will rapidly become fashionable colours of camouflage.

We recommend adding a couple of spare 5000 round magazines to your vehicle (these are available as optional extras) for movie-style shooting occasions when you want almost limitless ammo and since they are so easy to load, your wife and kids will only have to be shown once.

For the man about town, the RHINO APC will allow you to drive right over the rubble instead of having to consult out-of-date and damaged maps or a GPS in Kyrgistani for a route around the problem.

In a post-apocalyptic world, the king of the heap will drive a RHINO.

In the Spirit of the competition , here is the confirmation screen grab.

The mist procedural material I'll upload to the on line database shortly.

just put it on a plane and put the plane in front of your camera position.

Adjust scale and opacity to suit.

The image is still noisy , but after 15hrs in PMC mode at 4500 x 4000 pixels on my lowley 460 i'd had enough.

Anyway...you'll be meeting him again in my main scene coming up soon.

I love Vinz scene, the sword and skeletton image, really nice and fitting the thema. Here is the latest version of my scene. Feel free to coment or give me your advices. I'm thinking of adding a calendar page with the exact date

ehm...i've another question:
my work is a triptych. are 3 still shot. Can I paginate these in photoshop (just to put a picture next to each other and place the title)? or i must attach three different images?
