Have to say, Otoy's response to this issue has been woefully inadequate.
Essentially their solution is 'don't use fall edition'
Un-believable.
Paride, can you get any more information or explain to Otoy that 'don't use fall edition' is not practical
Something like this should have prompted an email from Otoy to all the users, instead we get this;

i hope otoy can find the bug with network GPUs and windows 10. Going back to older windows is not an option. it is annoying 100 frames or so and slaves must be unchecked and rechecked for the work again

Hi guys,
I think it does not depend on Octane, it depends on windows10. I tried using Multi GPUs with windows10 without using Octane and I've found issue anyway,
with drivers with video games etc, it seems that Windows10 does not want to support Multi GPUs,
if you search on the internet, you will find many topics about this issue.

The error Another instance of Octane is currently performing authentication tasks is shown when there is more than one instance of Octane running and performing license activation / deactivation. If you receive this error, ensure that only one instance of OctaneRender Standalone, Octane plugin, or OctaneRender Slave Daemon is running on the machine. In rare cases the lock used to detect this state may become invalid due to a crash or invalid state in the Octane plugin application. If this is the case, you may need to sign-out or restart before you will be able to release licenses.

Hi Paridie,
and by multi gpu do you mean rendering using slaves connected or having many gpus in one PC?
Our master has 3 GPUs and they work fine at the same time, problem is after 2-3 hours all network slaves quit rendering like they are not there even though they are showing OK in octane network list. So constantly have to open octane network window and recheck slaves.
How should I start trouble shooting this problem? Is there any real time network monitoring. It looks like problem is related more towards network than GPU

Hi coilbook,
I'm not sure every issue is about windows10 and last update, I have no technical data, my idea comes from issue that some many multi GPUs users have encountered problems after this update.
About your network issue, you could post your slave and master flag. It could be useful to better understand what happens.

why the camera MB is not disconnected! how can I remove it! exports to ORBX did not help
