GOOD AFTERNOON
I HAVE A PROBLEM WHEN I USE OCTANERENDER 3.06.04-4.39, THE VIEWPORT IS LIKE A MIRROR, I DON'T KNOW WHY HAPPEN THIS
SOMEONE CAN HELP ME ?

Hi merid888,
did you try using scanline renderer mode, does your issue still happen?

You are not using a camera and only a Top down view. This can happen. Sometimes if you zoom to much in, the scene diappears. Its a 3dsmax issue I think.

Try to set up a camera and render again. Then it should work.

i posted this problem 4 months ago when you using middle scroll to zoom in/out octane would just flip a viewport. It is still not fixed. It happens a lot when you work with large scenes . Version 2 never had this problem started with version 3

Hi It seems that if Disable PFlow instances is unchecked there are no pflow particles in octane viewport unless viewport % is set to something. Also particle brightness gets out of control.

when leaving a checkmark evaluation times is very slow but quantity multiplier viewport % can be left at 0 and brightness works ok.


so there is a big problem for us we have both pflow fire works and phoenix fire.

with Disable pflow mesh instances checked: PFlow is slow to load

with Disable pflow mesh instances UNchecked: phoenix fd evaluate 5-10 times slower


hopefully otoy can fix all this

the movement of the cube and the camera - they have one speed .... the question is what would it take what would the cube had blur

you should activate movable proxy and MB in Octane property.
