Okay, I wasn't sure. Thanks. Do you happen to know the last version it did work in? I'd been using 4.20 for a while and just wanted an upgrade that does allow hair+fur to work.

Hi DartFrog,
you can upgrade up to 4.23 (4.21 stable).
The issue is from 4.24 to 4.30, but found three weeks ago.

@Goldisart
You have also set ior to 1, but this is difficult to achieve if ior in vray is not 1.

Two issues
- when you still have octanerender vieport open, and you open another project, the viewport remains open, and you cannot close it - but I can open another render viewport
- all of this sometimes works, sometimes becomes unstable and buggy - did anyone experience this...
- the show background texture is still bugged out, at the very least, the viewport with the background texture has to be selected prior to opening the render window cause otherwise it doesn't show up

@acc24ex
I also ran into that problem with opening other projects. It's annoying but luckily fairly easy to work around. Hopefully it will be a quick fix after the new kernel is implemented.

Yes, but initially not even close work , falloff .... the properties of a meterial vray I am always surprised they are not physical - therefore I do not pay attention what IRQ
.........
pay attention to the standard falloff - if the conversion takes place when metal objects
