Hi - yes, that is exactly the same bug - it is crashing when wxPython tries to draw the material tree.
Are you running a non-English version of OSX?
Have you tried deleting your default rendertarget? (It is in the poser.PrefsLocation() and called "defaultrendertarget.por")
Do you have a Mavericks system you can try?
Paul

I am running an English version of OS X only.
I did a search for defaultrendertarget.por and could not find that file.
I do not have a Mavericks system to try, just my Yosemite.
I notice when I click on the Octane Plugin, I get the "No Rendertarget settings were found for this scene. Creating new Rendertarget".

Hi
I will take a look at this again in the next few days.
In the meantime, may I suggest trying an earlier version of the plugin? Do you still have the installers, or would you like me to post links to all the installers here?
Thanks
Paul

Paul,
If you could pose the links to maybe the last 4 installed, that would be great. I think the issue started somewhere around there.
And thank you for looking into this.

Sorry for the late reply....
I loaded the Andy figure and did my usual steps and Poser did not crash.
Let me know if the screenshot is not what you needed.
I'll try some of the previous versions too and see if Poser still crashes. Seems like it's inconsistent. Sometimes it happens, other times it does not. I wonder if it has to do with the objects I have in the scene.

Can you click the "Setup" button and send a screenshot of the resulting Configuration screen pls.
I wonder if it has to do with the objects I have in the scene.
It's possible. Any clue you can find will help track it down.
I re-opened this issue with Smith Micro and they have tried the plugin on a range of OSX installs and cannot reproduce the crash. So if you can find a way for me to get the crash, I can investigate a work-around, or get a Poser fix scheduled.
Thanks
Paul

Here is a screenshot of my configuration.
I'll continue to see what figures/objects are loaded when the crash happens.

Here is a screenshot of my configuration.
That is the same as mine - so that's not the issue.
I'll continue to see what figures/objects are loaded when the crash happens.
Thanks. Perhaps a model you use frequently has a material name with special characters which crashes Poser on OSX, or some other similar issue.

Poser just crashed on me. All I did was load the 'Infiltrator' figure only. I did not add any other figures, lights, etc...
From DAZ3D - Infiltrator:
http://www.daz3d.com/infiltrator
I attached the crash report and I do have the octaneplugin.log file as well if you need that.
