Hi,

Would be great to not have to rebuild my CINEMA layout on each new build, is there a way we could have a universal layout that just updates rather than resetting all the icons every time, or is this just a hazard of beta builds? Not a major issue, just a minor inconvenience :)

cheers

Would it be possible to manually select the font that is used in the live viewer render stats, or at least make it unaffected by changes made to the c4d system font?

I like to change the size and system font of c4d but this makes the render stats in the live viewer unreadable almost, so it would be great it there was some way to keep them at a default size/font type please.

Rendering from c4d Isometric camera preset!
I know it works with "parallel" as discussed here: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... ic#p196101

But Isometric does not work - and Parallel is close to useable, but does not align perfectly comparing to C4D's Standard or Physical Isometric render.

Seems so hard to make it. Not a good time to do this now. I'll check it, after finishing all revisions.

Yes, i know this. I don't know is it possible or not. But that seems that need much work to do.

Asking for ability to pan and zoom image in Live Viewer window if it's possible.
It's really useful feature for big resolution images like in Standalone. When i can pan and zoom to see the details of rendered image.
There are 2 mods in Live Viewer for C4D :
1. Output is re sized to fit Live viewer window
2. And Lock resolution when window size can't affect Output resolution.
Aoktar is it possible to add pan and zoom functionality to second mod when Lock resolution is enabled ?
Thank you.

Generally I'd like to see more ease of use
There is a picture here
http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Cinema4D/?page_id=1971

of all these different archetypes - are these materials anywhere to be found ?

More notation on the sliders as to what they do
on the index - labeling that says where water , glass etc would be - I gotta go look it up every time I want it to be real world values

Just seems like there must be a way to label stuff and have meta-materials that make it EASIER for the novice to get to a high level look without being a rocket scientist that needs to know every little way of tweaking the system to make it work

instead have a way of using presets on all the menus - camera imager - settings etc so people can trade more stuff and that you can uplift everyone faster to get tremendous results instead of everyone having to figure out every little ideosynchricity of your software to make it work right - more more more materials - the easiest way to make any software useful is to give the user hi quality examples the more you give the more valuable your software is and the faster people can jump into it and use it immedietly without wasting valuable time learning /
more labeling on the sliders - they are not very intuitive - I have to constantly go look up what each does - little hover help or something would save so much time for everyone learning it - if each person has to spend a couple of hours each trying to learn and remember what it is - a few words around the slider would intuitively allow them to grasp it you'd be saving tremendous hours right there

it would be nice if the 'x-ray' checkbox on an objects 'basic-tab' would work when octane materials are applied. doesnt seem to work now.
