HI Ramone163,
I think it doesn't depend on Octane, as you can see in my clip it works, but 3dsMax is very unstable opening your file; 3ds Max freezes and lags, it is unstable using scanline render too.

Can you move viewport during the render?

it is really annoying as I have 3 cameras with different FOV .. but any change made on one change change the same value on the other ones ????? + I just ha a GPU failure due to NOT ENOUGH MEMORY FOR DENOISE while having 4 Gigabyte free memory left? ( max 2018 )
Hi justix,
values change when using cameras instaced only.
are you sure they are not?

Pretty sure as one has been created frm the Camera menu which usually use the same values of the last modified.. I will double check, as for the GPU fail I understand it's abug which I did not see it cleared in the last RC2 bug list? will the out of core option take care of any Denoise fal due to out of memory?
Hi justix,
I made a clip, am I doing something wrong?
About Denoise, it use GPU, no out-of-core option; It need, i think, about 500 MB Vram

Don't have much time to make a proper post but like to add an issue with the baking camera. Not working with different group ids and the standalone sometimes fails too.

Thanks, can't see the clip..is not attached.anyway I'm waiting impatiently about a fix release for the GPU fail on instances.RC2 I believe... I won't go talking about the material editor again..is that controlled by GPU? because the 'competitor one has it and it does handle pretty damn fast while I start hating 3Dsmax for being so laggy.. and my spec is a decent one I believe....

Hi, I don't know if it happens all the time, but when I want to denoise with 16000 max sample, denoiser don't run even at hight samples. Same scene at 2000 max samples, denoiser works fine.

Hi justix,
have you issue using meterial cache and down-scaling in Material user settings?
I'm sorry I forgot to attach the clip, here it is.

hi we have a scene with lots of itoo forest instances like grass etc octane 3 eval time is 48 seconds, octane 4 is 23 seconds. Seems too slow for instances
also XB4 gives error failed to bind texture to device memory
