3х 1080 ti = loads a long frame

Hi coilbook, coilbook wrote:not sure if it is octane bug or 3ds max after rendering 100-200 frames slaves quit rendering (EVGA shows no activity) but there are no errors of any kind on slave or master. it seems if scene is heavy over 5 gb with a lot of mesh slaves just cannot keep up and quit rendering but no errors are showing. Not sure if it is related more to a network that cannot keep up but then I thought only the first frame when most of the data is sent.
In 50 frames or so slaves quit rendering (they are not in octane preview anymore) All slaves must be unchecked and then rechecked. There are no errors anywhere

could it depend on windows energy saving tool activated on slaves or master?
you could also try turning off "Minimize net traffic" option in Kernel Tab.

Hi Paride, min net traffic is unchecked. And all sleep features are off, they are set to never go to sleep. Not sure if it is the scene causing the problem or a new windows 10 update 1709 on master PC but we never had problems like this before. I will try to send the scene to you. We've been having problems with master where if you go to the network you don't see connected PCs, sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Not sure if new windows update messes with network card/drivers
Thank you
