Ok found it. It was about a unexpected usage ;)
I'm dropping a note until next build: If you close Live Viewer while you having or working with materials in Node Editor then links get will lost and crashes can happen. Better to avoid from closing the LV while working on NE.

I found the same thing. ive done some testing back and forth between 3.06 and 3.06 test 4 and 3.06 is substantially slower (about 20% or more) then test 4
i tested on the same projects, same frame and settings of course.

This is a showstopper for me. rolling back to test 4 until this is sorted.

EDIT: rendering time without Adaptive sampling seem to be similar. what has changed in the AS behavior if the settings are identical?
Of course you need to re-tweak AS parameters. I can't describe what's changed but try to check progress of NOISE pass output.
What exactly are we supposed to look for when we "check progress of NOISE pass"? Usually final releases are, if anything, FASTER than test/beta releases due to last-minute cleanup and optimization. I appreciate the amazing work you do, Aoktar - I'm just trying to understand.

Well, raising the filter threshold from 0.03 to 0.0345 gave me about the same TIMES. i still need to inspect the noise pass to see if its the same result as well. in any case i have to give props to super oktar for being a super plugin developer. we do bitch sometimes in the forums but ur work is greatly appreciated friend :)

Best,
Guy

Hi,

the Lens Shift seems not working in the final render, but in the Live Viewer it works fine!
I haven't found any other problem ;)

Thanks

Hi Stefano,
weird, here it works in LV and PV at the same way with both c4doctane Lens shift and c4d offset value:

hi,
great release, very stable here ,and the node editor is very smooth !

Is the Feature "Save render State" exists in the c4d plugin ?

thanks and keep up your amazing work !

Thanks! It's not implemented and i don't think that will be. It's hard to apply in plugins. Alternatively you can use "Edit in standalone" command and render/pause in standalone.

This is a very stable release again, Ahmet. Great work!
Only one issue causes the plugin to crash:
I have defined keyboard short cuts for 'render scene' and 'stop render' If I press stop render two times fast the plugin crashes.
Nothing important - I avoid the double key - but maybe its of any use for you to know.
