if displacement maps are to be used, should the normal and bump maps still be removed ?
I'm not absolutely sure on this. You will need to check with OTOY.

I have updated the installer at the top of this thread with:

3.4.2.27
- Compiled with Octane 3.04.2
- [UNTESTED] The "Replace All Active Maps" function now replaces Normal maps in addition to the other maps. Displacement maps are still not replaced
- The material conversion process will now allow both bump and normal maps to be used (whereas in the past if there was a normal map, the bump map would be ignored)
- Fixed issue where the standard SSS skin shader was not using the normal and bump maps in both materials in the material mix

Happy Halloween!
Wanted to check in and see if it is a good time to ask if HDR Lightmap integration with Daz Studio can yet be put on the map again.

Cheers

I'm so happy to be able to use normal and bumps on the same material, no more having to find other ways to make them work together.

A slightly annoying bug:

DAZ Studio crashes when marking more than one material and "Copy as new materials".

Reproduction steps:

1 Open DAZ Studio with empty scene
2 In material tabs, select a material from Live DB and rightclick selecting Copy as new material
3 Selecting the copied material, short, and rightclick selecting Copy as new material
4 Selecting BOTH copied materials, short, and rightclick selecting Copy as new materials
5 DAZ Studio dies with exception reason:
"DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\plugins\OctaneRender\plordazs.dll" at 0033:000000001633FCFA, DzMatrix4::`default constructor closure'()+1157722 byte(s)"

DAZ Studio 4.9.2.70
OcDS 3.4.3.27
Win7, 64 GB RAM
Titan Black + Titan X + Titan Z

I can reproduce this error, and will try to put a fix in the next release.
