Well, there certainly are some issues, but overall it's working pretty well for me. Managed to get a first complete scene done, with fog and all. Lot's of neat additions everywhere, need to do some more exploring.
Thanks for the update!

on a note: i put the dl on hold. there was a number of pretty boring bugs, some of them added literally in the last minutes:
i.e. any parameter that (currently) can't be animated, i.e. rgb colors and bools doesn't update the rendering.
the live db should create a new cache database in order to keep old and new formats separated, just it doesn't because a "2" was missing in the file name string (so ldb downloads and old caches got mixed up).
the mentioned problem with probably several hundred mb large debug log files (i just haven't expected to see such enormous file sizes), the also mentioned problem with uv sets and a couple more...

I was holding back - but since you are investigating...
I tried to change a material to a simple LIGHT source and it bombed Daz completely.
Yes, loading from previous loses all MATs.
Lemme know when to download thanks!

Could you share the steps required to set up the fog please? I've never been able to get it working.

Sure. First set up the scene as desired. Then add a DS primitive. In my scene above I used a cube of about 50 m length for each side. Position it so that it encompasses all of the scene that you want in the fog but keep the camera OUTSIDE of it! Now apply a fog material to the primitive and render. I used the "Octane Fog" version 1 from the Live DB for the scene above. You need to use the PMC kernel (Path tracing works too I think?) and you need to up the number of max samples ( I used 6000 for the image above, ~5000 would probably have been enough).
Hope that Helps

I can not do anything because of this.
What I'm doing wrong?
The problem for me was from the beginning, and waited for this update.
And LAMH is not?

Thanks. It doesn't work for me with version 4.6.3.52 or the previous build
It would be nice if I could actually install it and run Daz Studio to test it.....
Yep, I am using 4.6.3.52 (64 bit) also.
