Some really awesome and important features there but one thing I'm really kinda pissed about, THERE IS STILL NO UNDO (CTR-Z)??
I mean this is such a extremely basic feature, this is the first professional tool I encountered that doesn't feature an undo function since its very first beta release.
Please add this in the next minor patch.

Is this just a normal texture raised by displacement? it looks crazy real.

Mine never come out as nice as yours
Let's say "it was normal" :) I splitted parts of the shoulder strap by their heights on the separate layers: low (red canvas), mid and high (star and emblem). I used "Black & White" command in Photoshop to get as plain greyscale images as possible with some accents (but tried not to loose completely such details as threads). Then I filtered each layer wid Levels to limit their brightness ranges — something around 0-130 for the low layer, 70-180 for the mid and 150-255 for the high. That's it.

Thanks for sharing Alexxtor. I will have to create some uniforms now because of you...

There is no need for a grace period since 2.0 standalone has had a price increase anyway.
Buying 2.0 standalone now costs 299EUR.
1.x was 199, plus 99 for an upgrade leads to the same price.

You are not disadvantaged because you have recently purchased.

Thanks
Chris.

Great news, but I tried to purchase the update and I can't validate my order, because I am asked to create a Paypal account. This is out of question. I have had big troubles with a pirated Paypal account in the past, and it took me around 3 years to close the account. During these 3 years I constantly received e-mails from people demanding money for things that I had never purchased.

So, please how can I buy EASILY the upgrade to 2.0 without creating a Paypal account ?

Isn't there a way of paying by credit card as simply as for my common purchases ?

If I remember well, last time I purchased at Otoy, it costed me almost twice the price of the software, by using international bank transfer ! I had to pay some special fees on my side as well as the withdraw fee of Otoy.

Paying through Paypal service is not a problem, but having to create a Paypal account to pay is not an option, and imho is not legal at least in Europe.

I can't find the post, but it seems to me that this problem with Paypal was supposed to be fixed...

There are also some unsung constraints for french clients about Paypal :

Important Information for French owners of a Paypal account :
According to the french law, a paypal account is considered as a bank account in a foreign country. It has to be declared on your tax return each year, even if you only use it to purchase a book on Amazon or a software from time to time. It you don't declare it, it can cost you a fine of 1500 Euros ! Even if you have 0 Euro on it !

I did it by using a guest account. No need to use an actual account.

nope its a bit slower
