Is there a way to export instances from LW into standalone Octane.
I am asking this because I have many textures on house models that are time consuming converting into LW for Octane.
These models get changed often and have to be resurfaced again
If I could do instances for grass in LW for landscapes and trees I could do turntable & still renders in stand alone Octane

testing our MDD with LW-Octane renderer but It doesn't seem to work. Bug or not (yet) existing feature?

Edited: F9 does render properly, only the IPR doesn't refreshes. It displays the frame on which you start IPR.

In the current version you need to reload scene or enable the "Full Upd." option in the IPR window to see the changes in any objects with deformations, dinamics, etc.

Next version is going to update the obejects with deformations without reload scene.

Ok, I figured out the reload thing in the end, It's logical. Good to know that this will be implemented in "real time" in the next release.
Thank you!

uv map doesnt seem to work properly in Octane
The wall in those renders is uvmapped in Lw but while render properly with maxwell and Kray, does not render properly with Octane

Please, check the UV maps of the object. Octane only support one UV map in each object. Plugin gets the first UV map avaliable in each vertex, if you have more than one, render can show artifacts like we can see in your images.

Anyway feel free to send to me the object ([email protected]) to check it here to see what could be the problem.
