Hi coilbook,
maybe something like this, but I think you would set color grid for emission while you create your .vdb

Scene is only 1.5 Gb of VRAM. So how much denoiser need to render 5000x5000 pixel?
Please fix it.
Hi Ramone163,
the issue you reported is in SDK, it doesn't pendends on Octane for 3dsMax plugin.
SDK developers will fixe it.

Hi justix,
values change when using cameras instaced only.
are you sure they are not?

Pretty sure as one has been created frm the Camera menu which usually use the same values of the last modified.. I will double check, as for the GPU fail I understand it's abug which I did not see it cleared in the last RC2 bug list? will the out of core option take care of any Denoise fal due to out of memory?

More test:
It seems 3.08-XB4 have stability and viewport performance problems.
3.07-more or less OK.

Trying to render a lot of instances objects (one block) and when I hit render, viewport stack and I can't do anything.
Driver ver: 391.35

Check my videos.

Hi Ramone163,
Nvidia 391.35 should be good.
Try using 'Use obj render settings' option in the Kernel settings.
As I can see in your clip, using that Octane hardware setting, you have 3.3 GB avaible.

Hi Paride
"Use obj render settings" doesn't help.
I send you to PM my scene file. Please try to render it and check the viewport performance.
Thank you.
