I have refreshed the installer at the top of this thread with:

2.21.1.41
- Compiled with Octane 2.21.1
- Disabled Focal Length and Sensor Width pins (since the plugin auto-calculates these from the Poser camera)
- Added "RAM Usage Limit" in the Configuration to limit the to RAM used by Out of Core Textures. Set this as per the Octane Standalone guidelines (ie. < your total RAM). Suggested starting value is 4GB.
- Fixed issue where Out of Core Textures could not be disabled
- Fixed camera field of view calculations for Dolly cameras - so the Viewport should now better match the Poser preview window
- Octane 2.21.1 fixes issue with incorrect UV's when using subd

2.21.0.40
- Added Light Passes (you can now assign a Light Pass to each Emitter, and then view each light pass as a Render Pass). See http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=369 for details.
- Added Out-of-Core Textures - where texturemaps can now be stored in CPU/Motherboard RAM if graphic card VRAM is full. Enabling this sets the RAM limit to your total RAM amount. Mouseover the Viewport status panel to see out-of-core statistics
- Fixed issue where HDR Light Studio light picking was still happening when Render Region was enabled
- Added Materials tab menu options to Copy Material To Clipboard and Paste Material From Clipboard - to allow copy/paste of materials between the plugin and other Octane plugins or Octane Standalone

2.20.0.39
- Implemented Render Layers from Octane 2.20 (assign the Layer Id on the Mesh item, and then select the Layer Id to render in the Render Layer section of the Settings tree).
- Fixed issue when input from the LocalDb was not working for materials downloaded from the LiveDb
- Added Tooltips to the Octane pins for all nodes in the Setup and Materials trees
- Fixed Octane Log error resulting from converting Poser materials with negative displacement. In this case, the Poser material will convert to an Octane material with a displacement amount of 0.00001

The following 2.21.1.42 release fixes are also included (eventhough 2.21.1.42 is not available yet)
- Added "Cube Map" project type to the Spherical Camera
- Fixed issue where the Reload Texturemaps function was not working
- Fixed issue where ticking Refresh Scene Each Frame was causing animated textures to not render correctly

Not sure why, but this version is not very stable for me. Crashes after about 5 minutes. All crashes appear random, it will be for example if i click on render target to change it from direct to path (that was the last crash) but that worked 9 out of 10 times before. The crash before this was when I clicked on the material tab. This time I even had the viewport closed.

Let me know if you need any info.

Sorry for the panic :D

I updated Poser to the latest version and it solved the problem. Worked with the plugin for an hour this morning and there was no crash.

The only thing that I find a little hard to work with is. it seams no matter what I do with render priority the interface is very sluggish. I have 2 cards, I've even tried disabling one of them. still very slow while it's rendering.

Thanks for your help.

Nick

Did you try disabling the other one? You could also try plugging your monitor into the other card.

I have refreshed the installer at the top of this thread with:

2.22.2.43
- Fixed issue where the Show Tooltips and Allow Scaled Cameras configuration options were not being saved correctly to the configuration file
- Compiled with Octane 2.22.2. See Octane Standalone for release notes, including Camera pin additions.
- Added "Cube Map" project type to the Spherical Camera
- Fixed issue where the Reload Texturemaps function was not working
- Fixed issue where ticking Refresh Scene Each Frame was causing animated textures to not render correctly
- Fixed issue where if a material had been saved to a Poser material, the search for missing texturemaps would not occur when reconverted than Poser material to an Octane material
- Fixed issue where the Aperture was not being set correctly for the Dolly camera
- Fixed issue where updating vertices between animation frames was taking too long
- Fixed issue where props parented to figures with duplicate prop names would be treated as the same prop. Previously, same-named props parented to different figures would share their materials - however this was causing a bug with copy/paste/import/export of these materials, so this has changed. For old scene where duplicate prop names exists for props parented to figures, the duplicate prop will have it's materials re-converted from the Poser material the first time you open the scene with this version of the plugin.
- Pin changes to the Thin Lens camera stereo settings
