hang-up problem on render end is back...i had to use more cars and trees in my scene ..much more geometry
and now by a 2000px rendering hang up on end is back....but it saves
There is a problem when switching between projects while update geometry is activated. (using C4D R14)
Please Test.
Detail:
I have rendered a scene in Live-Preview with "update-geometry" activated, then I switch to another scene and simply refresh the live-preview. What happens is that the last scene that was active before is suddenly closed !! without saving !! This happens as long the update-gemotry funktion is on. If turn off and refresh different scenes, everything is fine, nothing gets closed.
Just tried Cinema Physical Sky and it works, sort of....
Initial render using the Octane Live Viewer is all black, then when I navigate the scene, the Live Viewer renders the scene OK.
However, if I try to render using the Picture Viewer with Octane as the chosen render, then the scene renders all black.
Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
no, there is no real support for that. Use sunlight or directlight instead of PS. Plugin uses Octane Daylight environment for each one.

it's very strange some people talking about crashes. But never crashes on my pc's even very complex projects. I'm really fooling with this.
What kind of crashes you say? In live viewer? With geometry updates? R14/R15? i need more details.
Also i saw you thread about phong angles. It seems like bad triangulation issues.
