I will improve this "closing process" later, adding the normal RMB menu popping up.;) Just some more important things are in priority right now...

thanks for all the hard work.
Im still trying to take the full advantage of the plugin but i miss some knowledge.

But for now all i can say is a BIG thank you.

The LocalDB is a +1000 option if you can add it to the liveDB(I don't use that much the LiveDB, but the local one would be a great help) :D

cheers

Please do. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, just categorizing .ocm files inside some folder ("store root") according to all subfolders (root->metals->rusty, etc..).

Most of us (non-beginners) already have big personal material libraries that are scattered through projects, .ocm files, etc. A way to organize these and easily import them into future projects, would be much useful.

+1000

And also it would be usefull to import *.ocm in order to easily convert previous "octane standalone" projects with a lot of materials into "octane blender" projects !

I agree. This feature would be the most useful at this moment.

Hello there =)
Sorry, but I can't get 1.5 and 1.6 working on win7 x64 with GT 525m, including 4 times of reinstalling. "Waiting for image" issue.
1.2 blender+server is latest version that works, even after reinstallation.

Вот так. Thanks for your attention. =)

привет Inciner =)

I had the same problem, and so have others.

I'm not exactly sure how I got it to work.

Just checking...did you turn on the Octane server? There should be an icon in
your tray.

Did you login one time? Unfortunately, it will not say, "Login Successful! =)" if it
worked, but it must be done.

Whatever was the problem, I can't even re-create it now, i.e. I can't get
it to fail. :D

Here is a screenshot of BlenderOctane running with Octane Server.

Sorry I don't have a definite answer...maybe someone else does(?).

But I'm sure you will get it working.
;)

Hi guys!

Just bought the plugin for blender but I am having the same issue above. I already had a licence of octane, and I had the 1.2 for win64 installed and active.

I installed octane server and blender octane, the run the server and then blender octane. Activated the plugin, filled my data in the render panel, but when I run the real time viewport I get "waiting for image".

The strange thing is that the user and pass disappear immediately after the first try of rendering, and also the icon of octane server disappear quite fast from the tray...

Hope someone could help me with this...
