Well ive just increased rayepsilon value from 0 to 0.002 and that problem is solved.

How to Correct Camera Distortion in Max

hi,

As you'd know you can correct a standard Max camera's lens distortion by applying Camera correction modifier.
Is there a way to that in Octane? It seems it doesn't work in both octane camera and standart camera.
Any tips you guys have?

I'm sure Camera correction modifier is not supported. It's a tricky thing to implement.
Use "LensShift" under Octane camera instead.
Point your camera directly to cam's target (so that cam Z = target Z) and then play with lens shift x/y values to get your verticals straight.

Problem:
I have GTX590 3GB for rendering and GTX 680 4GB for monitor and rendering
when 1 procesor used from gtx590 - shows 1260mb available memory
when 2 procesor used from gtx590 - shows 640mb
when I used all - shows 510mb or less

driver: 310.90

???

fixed
if anyone else have the same problem just disable multi GPU mode after update nvidia driver

Can someone please fix that stupid problem with the fokus picker??????????????????????

I played with 3 projects and had to use the fokus picker and simply the sharpness was bad. its a complete guess play when you move the camera along a path ......and NOOOOOOOOOO - i can NOT use a bigger aperture. i need the depth of field. Hey Karba please fix those problem. Octane for 3ds max is USLESS like this and we payed for it!!

Going back now to 1.00 untill you fixed it.

And yeah - i am angry now cause i wasted lots of hours!

hi karba, i cannot open the viewport octanerender into 3ds max, i have driver installed 310.90, using right now 2 gtx470, windows xp64 bits, add image and file .rar, 3ds max 2013 x64 and octanerender for max 1.02, standalone 1.03
